Nina’s Sacred Circle

NLP and Life Coaching with Nina Madden - Sacred Circle

Female friendships that work are relationships in which women help each other to belong to themselves.

This is the vision for the Sacred Circle, (Nina’s Sacred Circle) a group of committed women that meet once a month to support, encourage, share and be with each other.

There is an undeniable power in the shape of a circle. It is one of the fundamental energy patterns in nature. Circles collect and focus energy. We sit facing each other, mirroring each other no one higher or more prominent. Wise women young to old, facing inward, toward each other equally.

I created Nina’s Sacred Circle because I yearned for a connection with other women. I longed for a place where I could be myself, and just show up. A place where pretence was dropped, and the real nourishment and growth and strength of true female friendship could be felt.

But it’s not really mine at all.

I didn’t want to be the teacher or the authority but longed for a place where we could all be equals.

Where each of the deep, limitless wisdom of each woman participating could flow freely.  A place to be heard and to hear, to be listened to and to listen – to experience the power of true communion with sisters who had only the best interest of each other at heart.

This is not a therapy group, because we don’t need to be fixed. It is not an accountability group, because we don’t need to be held accountable. In a world of action, and push, and pressure, this is a place just to be.

I longed for a place where we could speak plainly, to be intimately known. I also longed for a ritual, a longing I no longer wanted to feel shame around.

In a world so full of everyday violence of words, spoken and unspoken, expectations, demands, I wanted to create a sacred space to be heard and known fully, safe and where that safety is Sacred.

I wanted a place where we could relax into self-acceptance; free from any demands of having to show up in a specific way. Where we lead from the heart. And where we are teachers for each other.

A place where we can come home to ourselves.
