What is a Breakthrough Session?

The Breakthrough Session is an intensive and powerful full-day therapy session involving NLP, Time Line Therapy® and Hypnotherapy. It gets to the root cause of your issues and enables emotional healing at the deepest level of identity.

It was developed by Tad James, M.S., Ph.D., using Time Line Therapy® , quantum linguistics, NLP and Hypnotherapy in the 1980s as a culmination of the work done within the field of NLP, Hypnotherapy and Time Line Therapy®

The first part is intensive investigation into your issue, how you define it and represent it in your mind and how it expresses itself in your life. You will look at the root cause, and begin to redefine yourself in relation to the problem.

The second part is the applied therapies that enable emotional healing at the deepest level.


How does the Breakthrough Session help?

Loss, grief, trauma, rejection and neglect effects how we value ourselves. This can affect our confidence and lead to day to day choices that reinforce the negative cycle.

Whatever your past, if you were abandoned, rejected, or neglected, have regrets over things you did, were abused, or feel guilt, shame or suffered loss and depression, you can create a solid sense of self worth.

A Breakthrough Session can help when you feel you could be more but you hold yourself back, out of fear, frustration, bitterness, anger or guilt.


What can I expect?

The Breakthrough Session enables you to come to terms with your past, to make peace with yourself, gain a new perspective and resolve and let go of emotional pain. When you have resolved the conflicts within yourself, you will be able to fully engage with life again.

How does the Breakthrough Session work?

The first step is to call or email me for an initial consultation. We will talk through your issues and if a Breakthrough Session is the right way forward for you. Before proceeding you may have several therapy sessions to ensure that you are in the right place.

Before the day itself you will need time to prepare. You will be given a questionnaire which enable you to begin to identify how your issue have expressed itself through patterns in your life, and you will be asked to write a short life story.

This is the current narrative that you are living according to, and making choices based upon.

With the Breakthrough Session this narrative is likely to change as you resolve the underlying emotional issues that inform your unconscious choices and actions.

The Breakthrough Session itself is a 6-8 hour session. Sometimes this needs to be split over two days.

After the Breakthrough Session you have three optional follow up sessions free of charge.

Because of the changes that you make during the Breakthrough Session you may find that your old environment no longer suits you. You may wish to make small or large changes, and therefore support is available for up to a year, through further life coaching or therapy.
