What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a state of mind in which our subconscious is able to communicate with our conscious mind.
Healing by trance, or an altered state, is among the oldest phenomena known to man and is found in virtually every culture throughout the world from Shamans journeys to African tribal dance and healing. In India sleep temples are known as old as 2000 years, where the hindu people brought their ill for healing, and the ancient Egyptians used to call hypnosis "the sleep of the gods."
What Can Be Treated With Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy today is used mostly for remedial problems and the list includes: stress, anxiety, panic, phobias, unwanted habits and addictions (e.g. smoking, overeating, alcoholism), disrupted sleep patterns, lack of confidence and low self-esteem, fear of examinations and public speaking, allergies and skin disorders, migraine and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
Additionally, it is used within surgery, in place of normal anaesthetics and pain management for which it is hugely effective.
Hypnotherapy combined with NLP and Time Line Therapy® opens up the field for healing issues rooted in childhood, relationship difficulties, and anger management.
The combination of therapies allows us to communicate with the deeply unconscious, get to the root cause, and access our inner wisdom resources and power.
Common Concerns About Hypnotherapy
People are sometimes concerned that they will "lose control" in hypnotherapy. However, regardless of how deeply people go they remain in full control.
Another concern is "what if I don't remember/ can't do it?" The important thing to remember here is that it really is very easy as it is the hypnotherapy process that allows you to access the deeper states of consciousness.

This really depends on you and your issues. Because with hypnotherapy we communicate directly with your unconscious mind one, or a few sessions are usually enough.
